New Testament Survey

In traditional evangelical Christianity, most Christians are taught, or develop, a method of study that is deep and only covers a small amount of scripture at a time. This is a good philosophy and very needed in our age of biblical illiteracy. Unfortunately, we can get so focused on the details of certain passages, that we miss the larger context of where those details fit. This course will assist the Christian in developing a broad understanding of the context of the New Testament and how each of the books fit within it. Over six weeks, we will look at every one of the twenty-seven books in the New Testament to see their purpose, setting, and place within the Canon. It is a great course for the new or long-time Christian who has a desire to know more about scripture.
